As CEO Hotel Collection International, Sebastian Lodder leads executive management at all levels, at a key moment for the company as is the great expansion process that is going on.
Sebastian joined the company in 2007 as Project Manager, playing different roles and assuming areas of responsibility until last 2015 he was appointed CEO. Sebastian has been linked to the hotel world throughout his professional career, especially from a hotel management point of view. Prior to joining Hotel Collection International, Sebastian held different positions in internationally renowned chains.
COO – Hotel Collection International
Professional with more than 25 years of hotel life. Her work took her from Spain to the Middle East, Europe and Africa. Learning in multi-cultural environments everything she knows about hospitality.
She has worked for major international hotel brands such as Sheraton, Luxury Collection Hotels, InterContinental and Holiday Inn Hotels. Also with Spanish brands such as HUSA hotels and Marbella Club Hotels. During the last years in Portugal, she has been a consultant in the area of Hospitality M&A. As well as developing projects as a consultant, asset manager or manager with her own independent firm.
She has also been an associate professor in Hotel Management for the Instituto de Empresa de Madrid for ten years.
Pilar is holding Executive Master in Tourism Business Management from the Instituto de Empresa, Madrid and Diploma in Business Technician and Tourism Activities.
She is currently part of the Hotel Collection International team as the group’s General Manager of Operations.
Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing – Madrid (Spain)
Over 20 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, Pedro leads HCI Hotel Group´s global commercial team. As Corporate Sales & Marketing Director his responsibilities include sales, pricing, commercial strategy, revenue management, trade marketing, distribution, B2B Digital Sales, business development and customer care.
Since last June 2018 Pedro assumes as well the position of Sales & Marketing Director at the Barcelona Golf Club and since june 2019 he has been in charged of the Presidency of the Barcelona Golf Club Association (ACG Barcelona).
Previously he held different positions at NH Hotel Group, Hesperia, HUSA Hotels and Vincci Hotels, from Hotel GM to Chief Commercial Officer being responsible for top line results, outbound business, global sales force and leading the sales strategy. He is an expert on Revenue Management, commercial practices and distribution, with experience in urban and resorts areas, leading multicultural teams.
Project Manager Administration – Valencia (Spain)
Bachelor in Business and Management from the University of Valencia in 1997. The last years of her career she began working in the banking sector. In 2000, she changed the sector and started working as the Head of Administration of a construction company, managing a broad portfolio of clients, both public and private, and taking responsibility for daily billing, taxes, staff, budgets, offers and monthly closures with direct report to the company owners.
It is in 2012 when she became part of Hotel Collection International as accounting and administrative manager for the hotels, in charge also of monthly reporting of results, directly reporting to Hotel Collection International CEO.
Human Resources Director – Madrid (Spain)
Lourdes is holding bachelors’ Degree in Psychology and Diploma of Advanced Studies of the PhD Program “Learning and Instruction”, both from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. She is holding Expert Course in Labour Management as well from EUDE.
Human Resources Professional specialized in Hospitality with twenty years’ experience in the United States, Germany and Spain. She began her career in HR through temporary work companies in Spain as head of recruitment. In 2004 she moved to California and began working at Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants, initially as HR Manager of the Sir Francis Drake Hotel in San Francisco, promoting in less than a year to Regional West Coast Human Resources Manager, carrying under her supervision twelve hotels and their respective restaurants.
In 2009 she entered the German market, living in Cologne and Berlin, carrying out various consulting projects, On her return to Spain in 2012, she started at Saville Consulting, being the director of its subsidiary office in Spain until 2016 when she joined Hotel Collection International as Corporate Human Resources Director.
Project Manager Revenue – Madrid (Spain)
Professional of Tourism specialized in Hospitality, he obtained his Tourism and Business Degree in 2001 from the Autonomous University of Madrid and has completed Revenue Management studies in other specialized, such as Cesae Business & Tourism School. He began his professional career in the reception and sales department of the first hotel of the H10 Hotels chain opened in the city of Madrid (Hotel H10 Villa de la Reina) in 2001.
With a trajectory of around 15 years of experience in the hospitality sector working for this brand, has developed skills at different levels and departments, among which he has stood out as Head of Reservations, Revenue and MICE. He also participated in two openings between 2015 and 2016, leading along with the commercial management team the process of brand integration of two properties that became part of the chain in this final stage of his career with the team of H10.
As of June 2018, he joined the sales team at HCI as a Revenue analyst, with a portfolio of 8 hotels, adding more projects to the portfolio. This has meant a promotion to Revenue Project Manager since 2020.
International Project Manager Operations – Madrid (Spain)
Starting his career in the catering sector, as a chef participating in international events and trained by Michelin starred chefs. Soon, he saw the necessity of growing in the sector and coursed a Degree in International Hospitality and Tourism Management, finishing his degree in London at the LSE University.
His first steps in the hospitality industry, were with the internship and soon was gaining weight within the industry in the English market, passing through different hotels in different British regions. At the age of 24, got his first General Manager position, finishing his stage in the UK, managing a private group of Hotels with more than 400 rooms. Currently, he works in HCI as International Operations Project Manager, coordinating operations in the group, new openings, as well as, ensuring the implementation of all our international brands.
In addition, he continues to develop his career, having recently completed a Master in Revenue Management at Cornell University.
Project Manager Sales – Madrid (Spain)
He began his career in 2012 as a result of a scholarship obtained to join the Airlines Department at the Melià Hotels International Headquarters. After his internship of 9 months going through the Airlines and Government Agencies Departments, he joined Marriott sales team within the Marriott GSO Spain and Portugal Office that had just opened a few months before, and which meant the official landing of the American Chain in Spain. For 5 years he was responsible of the group desk in the office, but also taking care of part of the commercial management of MICE accounts.
Afterwards, he was promoted to International Sales Manager in Milan, within a commercial cluster of four Starwood properties. After 1 year in Milan and almost 8 in Marriott, he started in Hotel Collection International as Project Manager Sales, being responsible and coordinator of sales area for the chain’s hotel portfolio nationwide.
Abdeslam E. González
Corporate F&B Director
Food and beverage professional specialized in hotel and catering in its different aspects, restaurants, cruises, education, catering … with more than 20 years of national and international experience, having developed his work in Spain, England, Brazil or Azerbaijan.
After finishing hospitality and tourism studies, in 1998 he began at Hilton Hotels in England as a chef. He returned to Spain in 2000 by Álvaro Arriaga at the Mar de Alborán restaurant in Malaga and in 2001 started as head of kitchen for Barceló Hotels, being part of the opening team of the Barceló Punta Umbría hotel in Huelva. He promoted to second chef working in Mallorca at Hotel Pueblo Palma and Hotel Albatros.
In 2003 he changed from vacation hotels to another business profile, specifically catering, banquets and restaurant, becoming part of the team of La Casería de las Palmeras de Jaén as second chef and a year later as a kitchen teacher in the Gambrinus school. He opened his own restaurant in 2005, Rey Alhamar Restaurant, in Jaén. In 2010, he started as Executive Chef at Iberocruceros, a subsidiary of Costa Cruises. In 2014, he signed for the PGI group as Executive Chef for the Shaghdag Mountain Resort complex in Azerbaijan. In 2016 he started as Director of food and Beverages at Hotel Collection International.
